Steven Foltz
Steven Foltz is a board certified family nurse practitioner and partner at HealthCARE Express.
Steven earned his Master’s of Nursing Science degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in December 1997. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in December 1991. He also holds as Associate Degree in Nursing and Emergency Medical Technology from Texarkana College.
Steven has been board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner since March 1998. He also holds RN and Advanced Practice Nurse licenses in both Texas and Arkansas. Steven previously held a Texas certification as an EMT-Paramedic.
In addition to working at Healthcare Express, Steven worked at Medical Arts Hospital for three years in ICU/Emergency Department as a EMT-Paramedic and RN prior to it’s closure. He also worked at Wadley
Regional Medical Center for 18 years. Steven also worked call in relief as a flight nurse with AirLife/LifeNet for four years.
Prior to moving to Wake Village in 2004, Steven lived in Hooks, Texas, where he was actively involved in the community. Steven served on the Hooks Volunteer Fire Department and as a councilman and mayor pro tem on the Hooks City Council.
In his spare time, Steven enjoys fishing, working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.
