Stacey Ervin

Stacey Ervin is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.  She earned her master’s degree with honors from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in August 2004.  She also earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler simultaneously in August, 2004 through a collaborative Nurse Practitioner Program between UT-Tyler and Texas Tech.  Stacey also holds an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Texarkana College.

Stacey became a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in September, 2004.  She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Stacey holds Advanced Practice licensure in both Texas and Oklahoma.  She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and, Texas Nurse Practitioners.

Stacey has served as a reviewer for Elsevier Nurse Practitioner Review books and a preceptor for nursing and midlevel practitioner students.

Prior to completing her FNP degree, Stacey worked as a RN in the Emergency Room at ETMC-Clarksville and Wadley Regional Medical Center.  After becoming an FNP, she worked in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Indian Health Service, and at the ER at Wadley Regional Medical Center.

In her spare time, Stacey enjoys spending time with her children and outdoor activities.  She has served on the Avery Independent School District Board of Trustees since 1997.
